Your child’s path to college starts here

Voices is recognized for beating the odds for historically underserved children. We offer a rigorous dual language program focused on preparing every single one of our students to succeed at 4-year colleges, universities and in their life paths. Our results speak for themselves.

Built on our Network Core Values of Students in the Forefront, Sí Se Puede Attitude, In Lak’Ech and Shared Leadership and leveraging our additional school-site values of Activism and Scholarship, Voices’ students are receiving the highest quality education available.

Q: What are the school hours?

Q: Will there be childcare after school hours or afterschool programs available?

Voices provides an after-school program for all schools and grades from 4 PM to 7 PM. However, due to limited space, spots are not guaranteed.

Q: Is there sibling preference?

Yes. Once you have a student at Voices, that student’s siblings have a guaranteed seat in the school if a space is available. In the meantime they are moved to the top of the waiting list.

Q: Is there tuition?

No. Voices is a tuition-free public charter school.

Q: Are parents required to do volunteer hours?

No. At Voices, we strongly believe that parent involvement is key to student’s success.

However, no parent involvement plan shall require mandatory services from parents, and under no circumstances shall any student suffer any adverse consequences based upon a parent’s level of service or contribution to the school. There are many opportunities for parents to be involved at Voices including: Parent Leadership Groups, Tutoring, Homework volunteer, Parenting classes, Parent information workshops, Advisory Representative and Parent Committees. We encourage and welcome parent engagement and leadership.

Q: How many students are in a class?

Typical class size is 28-30 students.
